Hail Odin

For my very first cover art opportunity, I was hired by a company called Inbeon Studios to create a comic book cover for their upcoming series "Hail Odin". Hail Odin was a sci-fi take on the story of Odin in Norse mythology. The main cover, shown here, depicts Odin on the left, Freyja on the right, and a confrontational wolf front and center. In the story, Odin crash lands on Earth and is viciously attacked by a pack of wolves. Freyja, seeing this, comes to his aid and helps drive the wolves away from Odin. I wanted to show hints of the narrative in the cover and establish a vague relationship between the three characters to draw interest from the viewer. My hope was that the viewer would ask, are these three friends, or foes?
